Yes, I am familiar with the Ranger's Beacon, and I visit from time to time to see their builds. As far as I know, their is only one build even close to this one that I posted, the Stoneflesh Barrager, and it is still being tested.

if you are referring to the solo trapper build with eco chain dust, then yes, it does still work.

It's always been hard for Rangers to get into UW/FoW, and Ursan made it even harder.

This is awesome though - now when trapping is slow (hard to solo trap now that Energizing Wind is nerfed) I can try your visage build. Nice work!

That is, unless ANet has nerfed this, which I doubt. If it is nerfed though, the thread necromancer is getting a pie in the face for getting my hopes up!
